I was doing so good. I didn't cut for a really long time. The today I had a horrible day that just triggered everything again. I couldn't handle it this time and I needed to do something so I cut. It felt so good and so wrong. I am so dissapointed in myself. I wish I were stronger but I am not. I thought I was over this but I did it. I am so stupid. I can't beleive I did it again. I feel like everything I worked for was just ruined. It didn't solve anything either. I still feel the same way I did before but now I have burning feeling in the spot I did it. I just want my problem to go away!

I'm sorry you had a bad day. I know this is a cliche', but tomorrow is a brand new day. You can't take back what you did today, but you can start over again tomorrow. Don't be so hard on yourself, you are trying your best.

Love,
Sujin

You've made progress! Even recovery is marked by relapse. Just think of it as a relapse to learn from..not a set back. You can move through this!

Sometimes you fall after standing for so long... you've walked a new path of not cutting. And you walked a long ways. Then, you couldn't handle something and you cut and you fell. But you're still on that same path. You are still on that road to getting completely over it. You may fall again, but you will get up and go even further down the path... all you worked for is not lost. I promise

actually replaspe is expected in recovery and provides opportunity to learn more about yourself.
