The title says it all. I need to feel the relaxation, the release. I haven't cut in several weeks now, but it's just to hard to fight. I've found other ways to hurt myself however do NOT get the same release from it.

I feel like i have to give in to move forward. I am scared and a little excited at the same time.

I don't know what else to say

thanks for listening,
jen

Hopefully, you still haven't done anything. If you have, I hope your OK.

There has to be a better way to seek relief. Some part of you has to realize that this is only a quick fix. Try to listen to the rational part of your brain and make a jump to get some help or something.

Stick in there though.

Thanks all for your support. I didn't do anything last night, and today i feel a little better. It's still in the back of my mind however things change min. to min.

Other ways can be from scratching with something to scraping off my sking to hitting myself with a hammer.

Jen

I'm back. I don't know how much longer I can keep saying no to the blade. I feel the need to punish myself for being such a horrible person, for things I've done, and for the people i have hurt.

I struggle to keep saying no and using everything I have learned to say no. Things just don't make sense to me right now and the only things that helps is cutting. The other methods I use don't give me the relief I so crave right now. Being able to breathe again and concentrate for a while on things. I don't know if I'll ever get past this awful addiction and craving I have for the blade.

Thanks for listening,
Jen

Working on this ^ would give you longer term relief IMO.
