I havnt self harmed in over a year and today I just couldn't take it. I started cutting again. I'm so ashamed of myself. It feels like the only way to tell I'm still alive. I feel so numb.

Anything happened lately to get you in a bad state? I know you are upset you did it again, but now you can start again with your counting your days of success. Are you seeing a therapist? If not, then please get an appointment. If so, then please give him/her a call or see if you can get an earlier appointment.

its just like payne said, a slip up like this is only an opportunity to abstain again. just because you cut again, doesn't mean you have to keep cutting. forgive yourself this transgression and be gentle with yourself.
