i have been taking these culinary classes. today i was cutting apples with a big sharp knife. i cut myself twice by accident. the sad thing is, i looked at my hands bleeding and i wanted to cut more. just cut until they were covered in blood. the thing is there were people around. im glad there were people around because if not, i would have done some really bad damage. the other day my cat accidentally scratched me and i looked at the scratch and i wanted to make it bleed. i dont know what to do..

It sounds like you have thus far been able to resist, in spite of being triggered. What have you been doing so far that has been working?

If being in front of people helps, can you arrange less unsupervised time for yourself? Stay with family, make more plans with friends, or go more public places (shopping, library, city park) by yourself?
I'm sorry your struggling. Accidental injuries can be triggering for me too.
