Hey guys! I'm new here, and I am a college student dealing with bipolar, self-injury, and OCD. I just have a quick question. I'm looking for a place to share some of my poems. It is all right to do that here? If it might in any way be triggering, I will post a warning. Please let me know. I won't post any of my work until I hear that it is all right. Thanks!
Nicole

hi lonelychick new here with a question

I'm only quite new myself so not sure of any rules, ect. surrounding the posting of poems...

there are quite a few sites around dedicated purely to the posting, sharing and commenting of poetry though... I'm a member of allpoetry myself, it's a great site overall. so if you're looking for somewhere maybe have a look there?
as for posting them here... as I say I'm new so not sure, hopefully someone else will come along who can answer your question soon though

(welcome to the site btw new here with a question )

There is a forum called creative corner. Feel free to post there. If you need to use the trigger icon. You can also read what others are writing. It is quite a good place. Enjoy.

Nicole, check out the Creative Corner forum. It might be right up your alley. Under the post icons there is one that is red with an x through it. That's the trigger icon, which warns people that the post may be triggering. If you think that your poem might be too graphic or something, you can always send it to me or another moderator to check out before you post it, and we'll let you know.

Welcome to PC! new here with a question

I already welcomed you to PC but I agree with what everyone else has said about your question. I look forward to reading. (I actually do like to read other people's poetry)

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
