* triggering?? I do not know - maybe

Lately when I cut I am getting very little out of it. It used to be a stress release.... It used to be something that I "owned". I fully believe that if I did not find cutting - I would have committed suicide by now.... Now it isn't "working" for me.... I guess I am getting concerned that I will have to just go back to full fledge *attempts*. To just end this misery.

I know what you mean about it not working anymore, I get the same thing. So my cuts are getting worse to try and prevent the attempt that I'm convinced is just round the corner...

I hope things get better for you, hang in there

Unfortunately, it is pretty common that after a while the cutting doesn't work as well. Your body craves the hormones it releases but over time it becomes less sensitive to the cutting and people find they need 'more'.

Are you seeing a T? It sounds like things are extremely rough at the moment and they might be able to help

thanks, yes I am seeing several therapists.... and I keep getting the same question "do you want to live" or "do you want to get better"....

Well I keep telling them the truth.... I DO NOT KNOW. Part of me yes, and a part of me very much NO.

I guess I am just screwed.

I went through that for a while. I had to stop and hold out as long as possible, and then when I finally gave in it was like sweet relief. I also had to find a new spot. Perhaps these things will work for you? I know I shouldn't "encourage" self harm, but if it keeps you from attempting an unsure if you want it sui, then I say sh as much as you need. I'm sorry you are feeling so low right now, I wish I could help you more. Here's a hug!
