I used a knife for the first time. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I'm sorry you're struggling. I will admit, I am not a "serious" SI-er as I have only ever cut a few times, however every time I've cut, I've used a pocket knife...it just felt right to me. It's painful, I know. I hope you will find some help...you are worth it!
