So, I'm in a wedding in October. Just been asked to try on bridesmaid dresses this weekend. I was hoping to have my scars be faded a little more...I can't back out of the fitting and long-sleeved dresses are an option (thank god the bride wants us all in different styles), but how do I just try on dresses with other girls and my arms all a mess? Does anyone have any advice? I'm hoping I can go and just look at dresses and not try any on. Is there make-up that wouldn't be too obvious?

Only try on long sleeves. Breathe, remind yourself, each other person is probably more concerned with own body image. If, on inside of arms, you may already comfortably stand in ways that hide.
