<font color="green">Ok here is the stupid question for the week. For whatever reason, I have had several nose bleeds this weekend. I didn't do anything to start them but I didn't want to stop them. I sat with one and just watched the blood drip into a bowl and felt like some of the bad in my head was draining out. Is this as sick as it sounds? Is this another way to si? I just don't know.

I dunno. Nosebleeds pretty much have to run their course as it is, so I guess I'd vote it's not a form of SI. As for it being sick thinking you were watching the bad stuff drain out -- it sounds perfectly normal to me. That's why I SI, at least -- to see a physical manifestation of the icky emotional stuff and try to get it out.

I would say it is another negative coping mechanism. The nosebleeds wern't themselves SI, but you were taking advantage of them to fulfil the same purpose.
I've done something similar (with the blood thing) before. Hope you're doing a bit better ((((((((hugs)))))))))
