Today is self injury awareness day and to help raise awareness people around the world are wearing orange and drawing hearts or butterflies on their wrists. I can't attach my picture but I've drawn a heart and a butterfly and wearing orange.

Thank you for the reminder. I think that self injury is one issue that needs to be talked about more, and stops being labeled as "emo" and other derogatory adjectives.

Thank you. You efforts may seem small, but the do go a long way.

We (the people in this chat room) are aware. But other people who are foreign to this issue need to know that self injury is not a shout for attention. It's a silent cry for help!

I was wearing orange on that day, but now, I have decided to keep the orange ribbon, butterfly, and heart on my wrists. I re-color them when I notice the color starting to fade.
