Okay so I'm out on a smoke break but Grrr. There's one person who I'm working with (I'm placement she's staff) that is just so frustrating. I usually get treated like staff but she insists on treating me as a student and doing everything exactly to standards and above and thinks I don't know anything and while yes she's nice and a good worker I feel like **** every time. She's soo condescending. I feel I need to cut just to get through a shift even though I haven't in 3 months or so.

This person may work with you, but she mean anything to you? Why punish yourself for someone you really don't care about?
Take her aside and tell her how you feel. It may not stop her, but it will improve your self esteem and feel like you can stand up for yourself. Standing up to people can be difficult if you are not an aggressive person, but ultimately, you will feel better. Sam2 |
