So I'm doing it too. I've done it three times so far, the last one being yesterday after an anger outburst because of my mother. I felt very guilty for yelling at her yesterday and for doing other bad things in the past, so I grabbed my Swiss knife and made three cuts on my left arm.

Welcome to the club, it's not very exclusive there are way too many of us, but it's such a taboo subject, nobody wants the public to know about.

I hope you are taking care of your injuries.

Hang in there.......... I hope that next time you feel like this that your grab a pen and write down how you are feeling instead of harming yourself.

I don't care if someone sees them and finds out the caused, really. But I wouldn't like to get caught doing it either. The cuts aren't deep, in fact they barely bled. I'm a little afraid to put pressure on the knife.

Hopefully I'll be rational enough to do that. I harmed myself because I was very angry and it felt like I needed to be punished.

Welcome to the club...like Mike up there said, it's not particularly exclusive, but it's also a club that no one wants to be part of if they can help it. I encourage you to check out the stickies at the top of the Self Injury forum, and also to join in on the "It's Been ____ Days Since I SIed..." thread. Both might help you to stop, which is generally the ultimate goal of everyone here.
