I recently started doing ssomething very weird whike drying my hair I will get a little itch it something on my body. I started putting the hot air from the dryer on the itches. I've burned myself in several places ding this I honestly stunt realize its hurting my skin it feels amazingly good I'm obsessed with it and can't stop. Hot water is the same in the shower I'll run my arms or legs under the hot water untill they are almost burnt. I can't help it it gives me a great feeling

A lot of people feel good when they are actually self-harming, it's a way of coping, not a very good way of coping though because you will end up with burn marks on your skin. Have a think and see if there are some other safer ways of coping. Take care

I just wonder why I do this? I honestly am not trying to hurt myself. It just feels really good and I can't stop

Maybe you have decreased sensation in your nerve endings? I take a shower with the hot water almost completely turned up, to the point it burns my skin, but because of nerve damage, I don't feel it. My husband has commented on how hit my showers are before! Also some medications can affect your nervous system. As for how it feels...do you feel compelled to do it? Like thinking something bad will happen if you don't do it? Or feel it's an impulse you can't ignore and tension will build inside you if you do ignore it?
