I have stopped for months... even up to a year but when things get rough cutting is on my mind and if its too much to handle then I'm cutting.

This morning I cut. sad story it didn't even help much.

Hi, letsgethigh. I can understand why your cutting began in high school, given what you wrote somewhere else. That's when you were hurt.

Can you keep in mind in the future that cutting did not help? And it would be good to seek out other ways to feel better?

Note the suggestions for things to do other than cutting at the top of this forum. Some of them will likely work for you.

Also, I think seeing a therapist would be an important thing for you to check out. You have a lot of pain to deal with from your past, plus a therapist can help you to feel better about yourself.
