So I was on this forum and I realized, a lot of my posts have been negative. I know at those times I was down, but today I just want to say some good things right now!

I finished an AMAZING book.
I passed my Spanish 2 quiz! I got a B+
We actually have money to pay for our bills.
I listened to this really cool new song that made me dance. (When no one was looking...) .
I got this new cute blue dress.
My sister joked with me a bit

Even though I'm kinda down right now and am still cutting a lot, I want to focus on these things. I like the little smile they bring to my face when I think about them. Write some things that brings smile to your face below!

I'm glad to see you are feeling better. I'm at a low point right now but there are still some good things.

I got the new position at work, it comes with a $2.75 raise. So the fourth raise in 6 months.
My daughter is into Halloween as much as I am. She hasn't taken her bunny suit off in days.
And I found this forum which has helped quiet the voices a bit, as I focus on others problems and not my own.

What was the book? I'm always on the lookout for a good read.

Hey! Sorry for the long wait for the reply, I'm trying to limit my internet use.
The book is more of a teen book, so I'm not sure you'll like it, but it's called The Maze Runner. Perhaps you've heard of the movie?
Anyway hope you enjoy your Halloween!

I think remembering the good things is important. No situation is wholly bad or wholly good - a lot just depends on our perspective.

Browncurtains that's a great idea!
It's autumn, and I love waking up in the morning and seeing the mist in the valley, and the diamonds on the spiderwebs. It's beautiful where I live.
And my kids are fab, amazing, funny.
I have lovely friends
And an amazing t.

LDG my favourite book of all time is the shipping news, Annie proux. It is not particularly jolly, there are some *trigger* incest references in it but I think it is an amazing book.

Definitely down in the dumps, so it's taking me a minute to figure these out but five things I can definitely see His hand at work in:

My Caramel salt candle.
My paycheck was larger than normal this week. And I really need that money to pay for my wisdom teeth removal next week.

I have a T who really cares about me in spite of the fact that I always push her away.
I haven't had to wake up early to drop the kids off at school for a long time.

No matter how rough I feel or how everything goes back downhill emotionally, even after a night of crying, cutting and feeling hopeless I feel I always wake up with an immediate thought that i'm thankful to be alive. Not sure why, but I appreciate it.
