It's 12 days until I haven't cut for a year and I think that's pretty exciting. It's been my biggest motivation not to si for the last few months and I'm confused about what I'll do after.
Any other success stories or advice?
Good luck to others also on the journey as well
-Sam

Dear Sam, congratulations. ONE YEAR - that is fabulous. Now go for two years.

And maybe helping others in the self injury forum deal with their challenges would be a good help.

Glad to know your ideas.

well done you! that's a fantastic achievement and I know you will make it.

Once you've reached it, I guess staying clean after that is more bonus for you! For me personally, I count it by month, and each new month I congratulate myself for going another month without it.

Maybe for your one year you could treat yourself to something you've been wanting or a day out or something? I recently got a tattoo for my 3 year free I love them so that was a good reward for me, plus I can look at it to remind me how strong I am if I ever need reminding. Of course, your reward for yourself will be your personal choice, but I would strongly recommend doing something for yourself, you certainly deserve it!!

I'm always here if you need encouragement etc. I'm so happy for you, you're amazing!! I also agree with the above comment that helping around this forum might benefit yourself also, it means a lot to me if I can help anyone else, so it might make you feel good too.
