I'm sorry you are struggling. Is there anything we can do to help, even just a little?

Have you got any distractions? Could you check out the Reasons Not To and Alternatives stickys at the top of the self injury forum?

It helps me to think of my body as my baby. You wouldn't cut or scratch or burn or hurt your baby would you? So why do it to your body?

This quote also helps me: your body is the house you grew up in. How dare you try to burn it to the ground.

Hang in there. The urge will pass. My pdoc described SI thoughts as being a tube train. You can choose to get on the train and spiral downwards, or you can simply let the train pass.

Good luck and please stay safe. You are very valued and your body is precious
