i always think i should throw good ol trusty blade out maybe that will stop me
i always just end up holding it
drifting off in my mind
about the times its gotten me thru
or at least help make worse
whatever u wanna call it
when u just try so hard not to
but u know its there
and so easy to get to
it just plays on my mind

Can you throw it away? That's a big step. The thing is, it is a method that has helped (or at least seemed to). Do you have other coping methods that work for you? If so, maybe you are ready.

((((((((((((((((((bronee)))))))))))))))))))))) It would be wonderful if you could get rid of it but I understand how hard that can be. Please try and stay safe.

bronee the blade is a symbol of him and what he stands for - throw it away and you'll be throwing him with it even write a letter full of hate and your feelings, wrap it round the blade and throw it in a vast body of water or better still sewage or dung or something else you can think of. then he cant hurt you any more can he? because he started all of this.

do it bronee do it with words of hate around it- rid yourself of both. it would be so rad......................

thinking of you, i love you, kezza xoxoxoxoxoxo

it is so easy when things are going 'ok' to see what 'should' be done to help ourselves i.e. throwing away the blade so that you CAN'T cut any more. But realistically, unless you live in straight jacket in a padded cell you will always be able to find a way of SIing if the urge is great enough. Taking that huge step of throwing the blade away takes sheer guts/courage/bravery and also shows that you are ready to begin healing. Good luck with however this pans out, esp if you are ready and able to throw that blade away. Take care and stay safe holding my blade
