Um, I haven't been on the forums here in so long. I joined when I was in about 9th grade, (btw) I was a cutter from around 7th grade to 10th and a bit of my junior year. I'm a Senior now and I just want to say I haven't SI'd in almost two years. As wonderful as it sounds...I ended up substituting my SI with not eating and basically my eating habits have been very bad. I know that something is wrong with me.. but I don't know what it is. I suppose I have some type of Eating Disorder..since I do restrict my food or when I do eat I'll just throw it up. I'm trying so hard..but I dont know. I put this in the SH forums because I feel like I'm not really safe from SH for the simple fact that I control my eating when I'm upset and..It's been like this since I've stopped cutting. So yeah.. :/

What you describe are all different sides of the SI coin, ways to control or punish yourself. You did so well not to cut,so be proud of yourself. Can you talk to a counsellor at school, college or wherever you are, if not, a chat with your doctor may help you decide how to progress.

I second the suggestion to maybe talk to someone about it...
