This may be triggering, apologies...

So, I'm doing well with not harming, nearly ten weeks!
Yesterday I wanted to, and managed not to.

Today I am thinking....what's the point in not doing it? It takes effort and energy to distract myself, reason out of doing it...I will inevitably do it at some point soon so what difference does it make how long I managed before I did it?

I try to go over old scars so I don't create new ones, I don't cut deep, no one will see....why am I bothering not to?

Sorry.

I saw in the "how many days" thread that you gave in. Remember: zero is a good start for a solid foundation. (That didn't come out quite right, but I don't know how else to say it so I hope you understand my meaning)

Please take care of yourself and of your wounds.

Try to remember that next time the urges are bad. 1. You don't deserve the pain and injuries. 2. Even if SI helps, it helps only a little bit for a very short time. 3. Injuries suck.

But itching sucks. Talcum powder with menthol can help, but I'm not sure if using talcum powder on a wound (even if it's a closed burn) is a good idea because it dries out the skin.

I hope this is again the start of a long SI-free streak.

Hey, yes I guess I'm on day 3!

Not hurting so much now either, though I'm not sure if that helps tbh. How are things with you? Xx

Good job! And goot that it isn't hurting so much anymore. I say again, you don't deserve pain.

I'm OK! Depression has lifted significantly since a little over 3 weeks ago. I just finished rewriting the instructions for my teacher on what to do if I have a panic attack or flashback (I have PTSD and am in SpecEd). The previous instructions were so lengthy with so many possibilities on what to do that it wasn't very clear anymore.

How are you? (you said the pain was better and that you hadn't SIed again, but not how you ARE..)

Oh I'm glad you're feeling better! And have a good plan in place for your teacher now.

I'm just....don't know....I feel like I'm on the edge of something. I'll be fine. Thank you for your support xxxx
