The it's been __ days thread made me think of this question. Is it rare for people to take care of their SH wounds? My T has said in the past that she didn't know of a lot of people who actually made sure to take care of their cuts/burns/etc afterwards, but I do. It's almost part of a routine, I cut then I make sure I clean it up and bandage it. Seems like this might not be the "norm" though.

Amy,
When I would cut too deep, if there is such a thing, I would stitch myself up. Then wait the normal time for things to heal. So yes I would take care of things. It may not have been till the next day but I would.

That's more along the lines that I do. I clean them, cover them up for the day, but have been reopening them the next day or so afterwards and repeating.

Hydrocoloid patches are convenient and effective if used properly. Get water resistant. I used them for bicycling wounds.

not really.

I don't care about myself at all, and wounds are included in that

I have always taken care of my cuts after I use Isopropyl alcohol to clean it and then I cover it with gauze
