I'm going to the doctor tomorrow because SI burn wounds (inflicted last Tuesday) aren't healing well and I want advice on how to treat them. Would anyone care to pocket ride with me? I'm nervous. Doctor knows about my mental illness, but I don't think he knows I SI. And doctors in general scare me (due to trauma).

I don't know what time I see him - I'm calling tomorrow morning to make an appointment.

Thanks, everyone.

Doctor went well! He was very kind and non-judging. I complimented him on being so calm and easy about it, and he said that he found it sad/bothersome (he used a word in my language that's less offensive than bothersome and less demeaning than sad - just an acceptable word that doesn't really have a good translation) to see, but that he didn't see the point of judging me or telling me not to do it, as I didn't do it for the fun of it and it wouldn't be helpful.
He gave me a few tips on the wound care, bandaged it anew and I have to return on Friday to show him the wounds again. (He first said next week, but he's away next week - only has a doctor that's training to become family doctor covering him)
He's a bit of an idiot sometimes (he's made a few mistakes in the past that caused me some major problems) but he means well.

Thanks for pocket riding, you all. It helped to know people were there with me in spirit.
