I wouldn't - if I gave away my knife (example) I'd just buy another one. The one I have now isn't very sharp - if I bought another one it would probably a ceramic blade again. Safest for me is to have things that aren't too bad within reach, so I don't feel the need to go and get something that is more dangerous.

I wouldn't hand over my razors, though he's offered that to me before too. I'm talking about pills...which are a lot harder for me to get. I only have them due to having surgery.

I had the exact same issue with painkillers I had from surgery. I was taking small overdoses of them. I gave them to her. I also had a ton of lyrica leftover because I stopped takingbit but didn't want to tell my pdoc, I was taking about half a month's worth at once a few times to knock myself out for a long time. I gave her that too. I give her my razors too though. She asks for them now. I buy more when I cut but it does help not having them in the house. There were a ton of times I would have cut if I had them in the house. It's hard for me to get them after work since I finish at midnight.

I save all my old meds but if you are worried about what you might do with them than I suggest turning them in but only if you want to
