I am home for the holidays... I lasted a day and a half before I got out my kit and cut. I have some work to do on a deadline, and here I am at the library suddenly hit by everything. I thought I was doing ok, adjusting back to life at home with the fam. I got my *** out of bed and went to the library. I even ate. I just want to go home and cut and forget about everything.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this is even a problem or deserves a "new thread," but there you go. I face the future with dread and exhaustion.

What about breathing exercises, my councilor told me to do this when you get stressed. Also maybe put on something soft like PJ's and something nice smelling, maybe that will help. Also, taking a moment to meditate might help you too.

Sending 's. Holidays with family can be a very difficult time for a lot of people.

How are you doing?
