Hello! I'm Carolyn, and I'm seventeen. I've been self injuring since I was hospitalized for a suicide attempt when I was fifteen (I've been hospitalized a total of three times). It's really tough trying to quit, as most of you know. I'm working with my therapist on it though, and I'm just trying to hold on to whatever sanity I have left. Welcome to psychcentral. You'll find a lot of great people here. I'm glad you are working with your therapist on stopping the self injury. I did it for 21 years, so I understand how hard it is to stop. You can do it. Don't quit. I'll be thinking about you.
