You're welcome! Don't worry, it stumps a lot of people!! Here's a whole thread on how to do it as testament to how tough it can be!! New trigger code

Here's my 2 cents on how to do it. I hope it helps.

It's going to require 2 posts to accomplish this. Why? Because whenever you type the triggers in the same post they go into hiding!

Copy this and place BEFORE the words you wish to hide:
Quote:
[trigger]
(now read my next post to see what you place AFTER the words you wish to hide)

Copy this and place it AFTER the words you wish to hide:
Quote:
[/trigger]
Notice it's the same as POST #1 except it has a forward slash (the symbol on the key with the question mark) before the word trigger. Also, make sure you use the square bracket symbol and not a round parentheses.

Square bracket = [ ]
Forward Slash = /
Round Parentheses = ( )

I used to
Possible trigger:
I'm not going to put which
Possible trigger:
exactly because I don't want anyone getting any ideas. I had the same overwhelming urges as you, too. It's not worth it, though because you have to deal with the pain for days afterwards, depending on how deep you went. Right now, I'm currently recovering from self-harming. It's not easy, you have to have a lot of self control. So far I'm doing good. It also helps to keep your hands busy. It may seem childish, but I have a tangle that helps. I'd also recommend a fidget cube. Here are some other alternatives that might help you when you're feeling that overwhelming urge. Hope I've helped. Stay safe and take care.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
