Ok, so I know for some people depression and such can cause issues with hygiene. This is somewhat the case for me... but also, my self harm urges have been so high, that I had not shaved my legs for over 2 months.
I just managed to do a complete shower, including shaving! With no self harm! It feels like a big deal to me, I know it sounds stupid, or simple, but the shower/bathroom is where I self harm. Every time. I am proud of myself, and I feel better having done it, because it makes me feel a little more, idk, comfortable in my skin. Never been a girly girl, and sometimes I will let things go, but this time, it feels good.

I don't think celebrating that is stupid at all. That's great! Hygiene is an issue for me too with my depression.
