It feels less like I'm counting the days I have been clean, and more like I'm counting the days until an inevitable relapse... Why should we bother?

Because you will feel better about yourself. I know it is hard. But from the sound of it, you have made some progress. Do you want to talk? Feel free to contact me via PM. I offer you a gentle hug and a soft embrace.

Please be safe... I am here now and available to talk to you.

Amanda

Counting days has never been helpful to me, in some cases it can even be triggering or cause feelings of guilt.

If you don't find it helpful-then don't do it!

It can be very challenging to find what works best for you. I don't personally feel obligated to continue anything that isn't working for me.
