I made a decision last night that self harm is behind me. I have a few ideas up my sleeve to validate a loss and to counteract a lot of negative stuff I took in with abuse and neglect from childhood. rituals if you will. I can write more at another time when I put my plans to action. No more self harm. I will not hurt my body again. I will lovingly care for my self and help it all to grow and be strong and healthy. Inside and out.

I'm glad for you. No more. Your idea about replacing it with something symbolic and positive is one of the best ideas for stopping that I have ever heard. I hope that you will tell us more about it and how it works for you. {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

Thanks for your encouragement. I am working hard on this and my ritual is still an infant but will develop once I get the time and space to work on it. Thank you for your understanding.

Wow! That is so courageous of you!

You are about to embark on quite a journey! Leaving self-harm behind is amazing. It is such an accomplishment, and it feels so good. It isn't easy, though, and it sometimes takes a lot of trial and error. Have you stopped before?

I wish you so much strength, and joy in your accomplishment. Every day you stick with this is a notch in your belt, and something to be proud of! So happy we can all celebrate with you on the forum!
