Now that I've started cutting again my old scares are coming back. Even in places I haven't gotten to again. The areas around my fresh cuts are coming back into visibility again. I guess I should be thankful that the ones on my chest and stomach weren't as bad as the rest or else when I had surgery earlier this month I would have been in trouble.
Right now though all I can think about is my wife. Each time I start cutting and she finds out she gets mad/upset. I can only hide it from her for so long. Once she sees my without a shirt it won't be long. The more it upsets me the more I want to cut. The more I cut the more I think about her finding out. The more I think about her finding out the more upset I get. The more I get upset the more I want to cut.........

My scars trigger me. I look at them and think of their stories and the pain behind them. I am going to get something to make them fade when I have a longer period of recovery than 3 months... hope you feel better soon. Thinking of you!
