Do you have any type of activity that helps you?

I've learned as long as I'm keeping (1) my mind busy and (2) my hands busy then I can get through the moment. If I play an online game (like Neopets-they have tons of games) or if I'm cleaning a lot or even just typing an article--doesn't matter on what is being typed as long as it doesn't use any emotion--that usually helps ward off the urges. Some even say holding ice helps.

I know it's late and all...but maybe getting up and doing something might help. I've read that sitting at the computer when you're struggling may make the feelings worse...so maybe possibly getting up and doing something physical??? I dunno.

Hang in there!

((((((((((Halliebeth))))))))))))))) What about calling a phone line? They're not going to be annoyed, because it's their job. Have you tried reading the list of things to do instead of SIng? It might be helpful.

Breathe. Take it one minute at a time. Write down stuff, or try to get away from any items you might use to SI and distract yourself.
