I still can't believe I did this. It is the first time in my life I have done anything like it. Did something incredible! My mom called yesterday morning and left a message that she was at my brothers and was going to come down here later this week. I called her back--which meant I also had to recharge the calling card which I have been putting of for months because I was afraid too, I know it is silly--and told her that I didn't want her to come. Ok, it was made easier because she had left to go to the store so I just had to leave the message with my brother which was a million times easier BUT I DID IT! I told my mom that she couldn't come over. With all that is happening with my marriage deal I just couldn't stand the thought of throwing in a mom visit. It would be totally intollerable. Could it be that I am starting to look out for myself?

*Carrie gives Kimberly and Angela high fives* I still can't believe it. Every once in awhile I will stop and say to myself "I actually told my mom not to come." I don't have to worry and be miserable about what "serious talk" she is going to want to have this time. :P I hate the serious talks. It is always about something that either hurts me or I really don't want to know about somebody else. Gag.

Sounds like you are Babes! Congratulations.

Think you should go and treat yourself to something good to celebrate.
