Has anyone else seen this film?

I watched it last night, with a friend of mine. It was a really good film. But i found it quite triggering. Especially when the guy(none of them have names) was in the motel and cut and burned himself. I was sitting watching it and i thought [censored], i can't be watching this with my friend(doesnt know i cut)..i need to cut 21 grams *may trigger* I felt really uncomfortable, and he stayed for ages after we watched the film andi just wanted to go to bed, had a bad headache too.

Sorry im rambling

I thought the same of a different movie that I saw. It showed a teenage girl cutting. Boy was that triggering! There really was no point to it, either. I don't think the movie itself ever needed to be made! lol

I have found movies that show self injury triggers me too. Also films showing people shooting up because sometimes I use straight pins on my arms. Watching these things makes me squirm.

Yes! Thirteen!

My little sister wanted to see it, so I let her get it. Isn't it totally pointless?

well it gives them an exposure, i guess. i mean you can clearly see that she's cutting out of pain. but it doesn't educate them about it much at all.
