3 am last Sunday night/Monday morn we got a call saying my ds and his girl fiend were arrested and my darling granddaughter was to become the property of the wonderful mom who raised the girlfiend.

As usual, the gf lied like crazy and was released with no charges while my ds who she had tried to run over with her car sat in jail. We decided to bail out son with the firm understanding he would file a report against the gf as soon as possible, and call us regularly so we are not worrying over him. He hasn't called but we went by the jail and he is not in there again yet. He still loves gf and wants to become a family with her. I feel he is addicted to her.

At this time, the gf has the grandbaby and a restraining order against my son but she is incapable of caring for the baby long term plus social services has had another report on her neglective and abusive ways with the child to investigate. (Sorry I felt I was losing her and so I called and spilled my guts about her and her oh so charming mother.)

My nerves are shot and I am a bit leery about posting this but I need to say it and could surely use all the prayers y'all can spare. BTW the reason this is here is that I lost it again have two nice scratches on my leg. I just had to numb out somehow. Sooo this is another one day and counting.

I don't know what to say, but I feel for you dalila. It sounds like a painful situation. Hurting Again

Please don't apologize for calling social services. You did the right thing. That little girl needs to be in a safe secure environment. If the girlfriend loses custody, CPS will first try to place her with another family member before they'd place her with strangers. They always want the child to stay within the family circle....less paperwork! (just kidding!)

You obviously love this little girl, and are a good hearted person. Take care of that little girl's grandma! You both deserve a safe and loving home.

The world would be an easier place to live sometimes if only we didn't have to deal with people. Sometimes, especially relatives. Wouldn't it?

Take Care!
