One slip does not take you back to the beginning. Pick up where you left off. This is a journey not a light switch.........

It's not as important how many days in row you went as it is how many days. As Sannah said, pick up where you left off. I'm sorry things got so bad you felt you had to do that, but you are still a wonderful person, you keep going, hold your head up high and keep going!

I agree with everyone else. Someone told me once that yesterday doesn't matter, that all we have is today. They are right you know. Please don't beat yourself up about it. It will just create a viscious cycle and you'll want to do it again. Be nice to yourself. Take a hot bath or do the same things you did before to get the 18 weeks. Remember what you did? How you got from day to day? What did that feel like?

I went through the same thing. I went 6 months without cutting or scratching and I started again about 3 months ago. I was really disappointed in myself at first, but then I realized that because I had gone those 6 months, and during those months I did find things that helped me get through the rough times without cutting. So even though I still do it sometimes, I don't do it as often as I did before I went those 6 months without any cutting. Its a small step towards something much much much greater.
