Yesterday on the BPD board I frequent a gal had good success with reducing her skin picking. She started wearing beaded bracelets. Anytime she had the urge she would fiddle with the beads. She said the first two weeks were tough and she had to be very councious of developing the new habit but she is a month out now and it is working very well for her. She said that she stills picks at dry skin but she doesn't pick out of nervous habit anymore.

That Is such A good idea, I have and wear a few braclets so It covers up my wrists every day And when I feel Like doing something On that area I play with the beads..It does help Alot to take my mind off things. Its just a shame that I cant put braclets all the way up my arms To stop me from curting myself there......
