For the last serval months I've not cut. Feel like I want to a lot of the time. But since I've been on medication I've not cut. Thing is I'm always picking at sores. Any scrape, bug bite. I just pick and pick and want it to bleed. To the point that it takes weeks to even start to heal. I just have to pick and bleed to feel better. How do I stop??

If it is a habit that you do without thinking about it, try wearing light gloves so that you would have to take the gloves off to pick, and by that time you would think about it and have a chance to stop yourself.
If there are still emotional issues behind it, you will need to work on those and find other ways to cope. Rap

I'm unable to wear gloves or anything else on my hands, gloves, rings, watches, anything close to my wrist or hands are a trigger. But I don't really think that's it's a habit of any kind. It's more that, I don't cause these cuts, bite, scrapes. And that makes it Ok to pick at it cause I didn't cause it in the first place. Make sense?

Well, it does make sense because sometimes I reason with myself the same way. I also justify sticking pins under the outer layer of my skin because it does't hurt so it doesn't really count. But if we really believed that it wasn't self-injury, then why would we post about it?
So, how badly do you want to stop? There are a number of ways you could set up a behavior management program for yourself. You could reward yourself for not picking for increasing amounts of time.
