I left a car at a repair workshop few hours ago and the guy said he will call and say what needs to be changed. Yeah... i left my cell in the car. I called and told him another phone no. as soon as i realized it. He said ok, i will call as soon as i will get a look at your car. That should take about half an hour. I left my car there 3 hours ago. He should have called already. I‘m anxious and scared and confused and other stuff too, just losing control. And when I lose control it happens (“it” = dissociation). And what if the guy calls and I’m practically a 7 years old child? I need to understand what he will say, I can’t be like “car, what car, oh that car, emmm… idk” and i need to be able to drive.
I need to cut to stop that from happening. I just need to. Don’t actually want to, but need to. I can’t think clearly already

Call him. It's ok to call him. Just call and say you hadn't heard and since you left your cell there you just wanted to make sure, and also you were a little worried because it's taking so long. It is perfectly ok to do that, hon.

It's ok, hon. It's ok. Don't worry about talking nonsense. You are stressed and worried and anxious. Please don't think he's avoiding you---that will only feed the bad thoughts. It's 100% possible that he's busy working on your car or another car and can't answer the phone. Put your thoughts in a positive place--it's much more comfortable there than in the negative place. I'll sit with you until you hear from him if you'd like.
