Ok...
But why? Why your head in particular? Do you know why it is those certain thoughts trigger you into wanting to do that?

I don't know for sure. I think it is because it is where my brain is and my face because I hate my face.

Why is having a brain so bad? Do you have some bad memories you hope to burn away, or something?
And as for your face - you might dislike it more after it being burned. In fact you probably would. I've found some photos for you (they might be triggering): http://www.itim.nsw.gov.au/images/Ca...03a(Chu)_2.jpg http://www.itim.nsw.gov.au/images/Bu...pper_face1.jpg The pics I've been looking at are making me feel sick, maybe that's the response you'd want?

Ok...
Have you ever tried psychotherapy? With the right techniques you should be able to cope with and live with the memories rather than fight them all the time. And as for your personality - some of that is genetics but you can change learned behaviours if that is what you mean?
