What's going on that make you want to cut, Halliebeth? Talk about what you are feeling & why...

When I was in a similar situation, I was directed to the following sites on the net for information on distractions:
The Healing House
mirror-mirror.org self-injury page 2
The Student Center (from Silver post: Sat. Dec. 18, 2004)
I hope these sites help distract from the urge to hurt yourself.

Good for you! I hope you can remember this time, when you felt so desperate, yet was able to refrain from harming yourself further. I hope it will give you strength in the future.

Hey hun... I know you may not want to hear this... but I notice this from you alot, maybe you might want to think of in house treatment. I know you are trying to resist, however it might help to have more support. *HUGS* I hope you are safe!

Hi Halliebeth,

You're not "stupid"....I know you're smart. We're all learning. "In house treatment" is another way of saying inpatient treatment. I hope this helps.

Take care,
ErinBear
