I go for the EMG test tomorrow. I can only hope that I can endure the pain. I am really scared. I triply hate needles and that is all this test is about. They stick needles in your muscles to see if your nerves react. No matter what the results it will be horrible. I can feel something is wrong with my legs so I know this will be bad.

I had that done before. I don't remember if they numb the area, but I don't remember it hurting much at all. Hope all goes well.

Hi Dancing,
Hope you made it through without too much discomfort. You have had a tough go of things lately, I hope you can get a break for awhile. I too have had multiple medical challenges and have been flying to different hospitals to deal with the issues. It gets old really fast, I just wish I wasn't so damn depressed as that makes everything worse. But, I am in Portland and will get a Ketamine infusion in 3-hours which I hope will DO something. Be well...

Not yet. Going on in 5 minutes. I think my depression is helping. I have no expectation of happiness only pain. This is all I have ever endured. One pain after another with no breaks or hope.

How did it go? I had that done twice but it was painless. A friend though said it was a bit uncomfortable so I'm guessing it's different for everyone.

Hope it went well for you.
Had those tests done a couple months ago. The peripheral neuropathy is such that I felt little.

Had the test. I have mild neuropathy they said. It hurt bad. I did have it before cuz they saw it on my records. Didn't remember it hurting bad. Thanks for all of your concerns.
