Once an outcast always an outcast. I do not think it ever changes. I have tried to solve my problems for 34 years, $250,000 spent and still an outcast.

Hi dancing lady. But I have a secret, all of us outcasts are here at PC and we are not longer outcasts. We are the family and friends of accepting ourselves the way we are.

Thanks for reaching out. The outcast in me embraces the outcast in you. That means we are no longer outcasts. Just living in a different world from what society calls normal. They should ban that "n" word too.

studies have shown that being of 'low social status' can affect one's health, resiliency, and even life-span. this is something very difficult to change, and only made worse by the stress of resistance. in any spectrum there are some 'with the most', and some 'with the least'. those in the middle are generally called 'normal'. i personally like being on the edge of the bell-curve, but it isn't easy.

I think if we accept where we are, that is the best we can do. Everyone can make a difference living their life to the best of their abilities.

What makes you think you are an outcast? I feel different from many but know I can mix with others when I have to. Not that I always want to. I kind of like being to myself a lot because interacting with others often causes me undue pain. It is true we are part of a family here although I haven't fully felt that yet. I am very new. I was thinking that I have my pet family and they appreciate me and show it even if no one else does. Pets are the greatest!

I agree that animals are the best, have a dog, and he accepts me no matter what. You are not an outcast here and can talk and feel welcome.
