Hello forum,
I want to ask you if there can be any relation between sexual addiction and premature ejaculation, and what can one do about this. I've been masturbating since I was like 14 or 15, now I am 21 and I continue to masturbate once a day, or more I also have a girlfriend (for 7 months), we only have sex some days in a month, but I am very happy with she and the sex, we only have sex some days on the month because we can't find more days to be together and alone, it is not because I don't want to or she doesn't want to. I thought I could masturbate less when having a girlfriend, but I couldn't, I needed to masturbate even more, specially the days after we have sex. The thing is that I ejaculate prematurely usually when having sex, and I think this is somehow related with my masturbation. Can this be possible? what can I do to masturbate less? When I masturbate it is worst, I ejaculate in less time than when having sex, but I think that I am not with my partner ""I don't care"", but I want to care now, I think that masturbating so Perhaps this is not an addiction problem... but I think this is the best forum, I also thought about anxiety. Thanks for reading and sorry if my english was bad ![]() |

I'm not sure how to answer your question, but if masturbation caused premature ejaculation, every guy would have PE problem.

I don't know how to answer this question either. Hell, I shouldn't be.
But logic tells me that masturbation would help with that, by dulling the senses to pleasure and stimulation. You could see a doctor about the problem if you wanted to. It's embarrassing but if you want to last longer for your girlfriend or you it would be worth it.

I would see a doctor, masturbating like you do should help your pre mature ejaculation!!

Lexapro, Anafranil, and others work on the anxiety and delay ejaculation. For some it
works wonders. Check with your doctor. Good luck! |

You can train yourself with masturbation. I used to masturbate a lot and had lots of problems with quick ejaculation. You become "trained" to respond quickly and with a lot of excitement and anticipation, so the same thing happens during real sex. I began using masturbation as a means to delay ejaculation. Set some time aside, and take yourself to a 7 or 8, and slow down, and back to a 7 or 8, and slow down, and back, and slow down, then go for a "10" and finish. Over time, I could masturbate for up to 2 hours without "popping".
BUT this sees sex as only a physical activity. Once I grew more, and grew more intimately in my relationship with a woman, and became more in tune with her, and with the ebb and flow of real sex in a real relationship, I could last as little as 3 minutes, or as much as 3 hours. Slow down. Deep breaths. Take care of her. Relax. Connect. It will happen as it happens. AND some women, like mine, take it as a big compliment when I lose control and come too quickly. You can express it to her as a compliment after it happens (Sorry babe. You just looked and felt so incredible I lost control.) But then get right back into it! Go for the second round. You are OK. Don't fret. |

If you are only have sex a few times a month and masturbate daily , the premature ejaculation when having sex is understandable and will lessen once sex because more regular .
