Hi, I'm a 19 year old male who just started college and has developed a weird and addicting hobby to fill my spare time. When I have an hour or so free I'll jump onto sites like omegle and chatroulette and show myself off for people, mostly girls but anyone who is willing to watch. I'm a bit bigger than average, around 9in, but I usually tell people that I'm 9.5 or 10in when they ask. I am just so turned on by people's reactions to me showing them and all their questions about it. But lately, I've started to feel weird and guilty when I think about it afterwards but i'm still so turned on during and can't stop myself. Is this normal? What should I do? It's just so addictive...

hi toobigtooproud
there are lots of things people do outside the "norm" when it comes to sex for gratification and as long as it isn't hurting anybody it is ok. however, the fact that fact that you are feeling weird and guilty about it means that it is causing problems in your life. that means that it is an issue for you and you should get some help for it. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

I would intensify doing what you have been doing to reach the point of boredom as soon as possible. Why you feel guilty is beyond me. What you have been doing sounds like benign, albeit somewhat dumb, entertainment. Since nobody gets hurt, why make a big (no pun intended) deal out of it? Some of your age peers play shooter games. And you play your own game. Eventually you will grow out of it, and the less of a big deal (sorry, no pun intended for real!!) you make out of it, the less you would think of it. If you try to quit, most likely you would be still thinking about it, and possibly would be thinking about it more than you do when you play this little game. So basically if you do not make a big deal out of it, you will be more productive, more focused on other things that are actually important, and more likely to grow out of this game one day.

Thanks for this - I learn so much on this site. I have to smile, but it sounds like the harmless unthinking naïve 'fun' that is to be had in youth and I expect it will pass and you will find more constructive activities to spend your time on.
Thanks for this!
