What helps me is living next to a business. I can't masturbate because the floorboards move. I also live next to sensitive neighbours so i can't masturbate after the business finishes for the day.
I masturbate at most 1 time a day between 11 pm and 1 am. |

Just a question - if you've been masturbating quite a lot since your teens (say like 13) and do it say daily - the loss of Zn, amino acids and stuff is obviously something not good - can it result in your "member" not growing as much as it should have? Zinc is important for testosterone levels as I understand it, and this has quite a bit to do with...you know...member size
![]() I know Zn has something to do with hormones, because when I had acne as a teen, I just drank a Zn supplement and it cleared up! So, it must have something to do with hormone, especially testosterone, balance. But, I think we are in any case not getting the stuff we need as guys from our food anymore, like Zn and other minerals/nutrients. I think masturbation is a small factor in the bigger picture of what we have to deal with today. Our food and water is all messed up. I was doing research at university on pesticides and so many of them are "estrogen (female hormone)-mimicking", and this stuff is dangerous at microgram (one millionth of a gram) per litre levels! Some are capable of turning male frogs into females even at these low levels! We are drinking this crap daily ![]() |

You need to actually make your life better, and that would require effort - not abstinence from masturbation, but an all-out effort to acquire social skills, friends, interests, etc. You also labeled yourself abnormal (not normal). There is no norm when it comes to masturbation, and you are well within the range of what should not be causing you concerns. You are sort of like a puppy chasing his tail in your attempts, again and again, to curtail masturbation frequency. Set goals - not with respect to frequency of masturbation, but with respect to bettering your life. Since you watch too much manga, one obvious goal for you is to spend time outside, every day, without your cell phone. Just walk in your city - mindless wandering. Another goal could be to learn to cook - you won't be watching manga (you cannot be chopping with a chef's knife and watching anything other than your fingers) and you would develop skills that would help you socially later on (you could invite people over, you could cook at your girlfriend's place when you acquire a gf and impress her with that - lots of options). You could take classes - not only for new skills or educational advancement, but to widen your social circle. A whole lot of other good things are possible if you just spend some time thinking it through. And then, maybe, when you are too tired after doing those things, you would just crash and fall asleep, and next morning you will rush out the door to meet somebody, and, lo and behold, one day you will catch yourself thinking that you have not masturbated for a few days because you have been too busy. And that would be good for you. And if you continue to masturbate, it would be good for you as well - this goes back to the fact that there is no established norm for the frequency of masturbation. I have seen a lot of teens like you on this site and their suffering - completely self-inflicted - is a very frustrating sight to watch. The thing is that those people who try to curtail masturbation end up, for the most part, talking about masturbation, or non-masturbation, or their struggles, and so on and so forth, and how they have managed to go for 8 days and 4.5 hours without masturbation but then succumbed to the old pattern etc. - nauseating. All that time talking about the 8 days and 4.5 hours not masturbating could be spent actually doing something useful. Say, you apologized for your English, but your English is fine - go to your local public library or another resource that organizes volunteer effort and sign up to teach English to somebody who cannot pay for classes. That is way better than thinking about masturbation - you will have helped somebody succeed. I think you need to read up on OUTWARD THINKING, because you are basically marinating in your own anxieties with no end in sight. You have talents and gifts for others - it is time to start discovering what they are, and not waste the precious days of your youth being a pickle in a brine of guilt that gives nobody, and you in the first place, any benefit. |

Do female hormones harm men? Yes if too much is taken in. Is masturbating once a day normal? Yes, any other answer is pure BS. If you wait for a day or two between sessions you may have heightened sensations. Does masturbation make you hair fall out? Emphatically, NO! Too much testosterone causes hair loss as do may medications. Not masturbating or having sex frequently and regularly can cause muscle atrophy. If that happens your orgasms will be terrible, painful and very weak. This is a fact! Try Googling "Use or lose it" with regards to sex. If quote something, such as, masturbation causes you to lose to much zinc, then post a link to a REPUTABLE source not some stupid article you read in a Womens Magazine! OP you got some good ideas about making some positive changes in your life but other than those DO IT EVERY DAMN DAY IF YOU WANT! |

OK, people are clearly missing the point about what I am saying here, and I don't know why, but so be it I guess.
The water was one EXAMPLE, I could have quoted anything to be honest. I am saying masturbation is the least of our worries as men IF we believe it is a problem even (that excludes a certain group of people right there, what is not clear here?). Some people mentioned mineral shortages as a consequence of masturbation, some people mention other stuff, the list goes on. I am saying that the world we live in today is not good for a man's health, and it's nothing to laugh at, they are truly serious problems. It is so serious that IF masturbating were to cause any issues, that would be overshadowed anyway by the onslaught of other stuff facing men's health today. Who says we are not getting a shortage of zinc in food anyway? Or any of the other stuff mentioned. I doubt losses through masturbation is going to make a big difference anyway. Come on guys, I'm not speaking in Greek here. |

It's a so-called conspiracy theory because you believe in mainstream rubbish. You're clueless. You're also very wrong if you think you can replace the zinc, protein and amino acids lost during an ejaculation after just a day. And 20% of semen consists of cerebrospinal fluid but of course your biologist well say the opposite. I don't really care what they say. I know as well doing my own research and how much better I feel when I don't ejaculate to know who's spouting BS.
