So I think I'm bisexual, but I'm a Christian and very confused, because doesn't the bible condemn homosexuality? It's very hard to accept my sexuality if the bible says I'll go to hell for it. Has anyone else had this same problem? What are your thoughts and beliefs about it? Please help, I'm so confused over this.

I think there is something in the bible about the love of two women......I believe God/higher Power whatever, accepts all...after all he made us in his image right? Love is love and how wonderful to be loved by either a man or a woman!

I'll give you my perspective as another Christian: According to the Bible, homosexuality is a sin, yes, but so is lying or having bad thoughts about people. In other words, it's not a huge deal because it's all just sin. If you're a Christian, you won't go to Hell, and God will help you with whatever strange feelings you may be having if you ask Him to. He understands. When I was younger, I thought I was very deffinitely bi, but over the years, God has taken that desire out of me. I still have occasional thoughts, but since we're human, we'll never be up to God's standard. That's why he sent Jesus Christ to purify us in God's eyes by dying for us. It's not something to worry about, really. Just keep praying and laying it on God, and He'll take care of you. I still like to look at a beautiful woman, but it's because she's beautiful, and not because I'm lusting over her.
Just don't stress about it, OK? Even if you act on your feelings, God would never send one of His own to Hell, and there are far worse crimes than homosexuality. I'll pray for you, too, because I know a lot of people have strong feelings of guilt about that kind of thing.
Thanks for this!

i'm both bisexual AND christian...you can be both!

I believe that God created us for a reason and that God loves all of his children.

I am a christian, not bisexual, but if we are to believe that God forgives all sins, think of all of the other things we do that are deemed sins (not that I see being bisexual as a sin, because I don't). If he forgives one, he forgives them all, because he doesn't differentiate how "bad" one sin is compared to another.
Jesus died on the cross to forgive us of all of our sins, so you are good to go.

This is a very important topic, especially to me, and I am glad you raised the question although I do not claim to have the definitive answer. I am a latent bisexual and a Christian that is very active in the church. I lust after good looking women non-stop. I also curse a lot, get angry a lot, and have never learned to forgive others who trespass against me. I do not "love all my neighbors" as He commanded. The Bible says my behaviors or thoughts are sins, but most everything else is a sin also. There has only been one person that ever walked the earth who was perfect and that was over 2000 years ago. The key to salvation is whether you believe in Him and accept Him as your savior. IMHO what we have to do is continually pray for His guidance and constantly confess our sins and ask forgiveness. As I tell my friends, I am not a "good Christian" but I am still trying. I hope it will be enough on Judgment Day. Good luck to you as well.

Sin is sin, there are none greater or less than another. Christ did it all for us, and as long as we belong to him, by his grace, we are his eternally. It's not what we do...
it's what Christ did.

Lots of great points here. All sin is weighted equal in the eyes of the Lord, and we are all sinners...so I don't think you've much to fear by being honest with yourself. I truly believe that God loves his children too much to condemn them for something like this.
