Well, I'm no doctor, and I'm not at your age yet, but I'm wondering if it could be just a factor of you aging? Or perhaps a part of you being off alcohol?

At any rate, the best thing you can do is see a doctor about it.. They can help you a lot more than my semi-educated guesses. Until then, when it happens, try relaxing, not thinking about it, and breathing deeply and slowly. That helped me when it was an issue during puberty.

Somehow, I think going to the Dr & really finding out the solution to your problem is a much better idea than going through the rest of your marriage thinking your cure is having your wife hate you.......I can guarantee you, that isn't what made you better (if in fact you really are better????)

That can't be easy. For now I guess just wear loose fitting clothes so it's not so obvious to others and embarrasing to you. Dr. Drew is great with these things so if you are too embarrased to ask your doctor you can ask him about it. It would involve calling a radio show but you could use a fake name. His show is Loveline and his cohosts are Mike Catherwood and Simone Bienne. It airs Sunday-Thursday 10:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m pacific time. You call 1-800-LOVE-191 anytime between 10:00 and 10:45 then they have an "open forum" with listener calls on a certain topic from 11:00-11:30 each day then they take calls on any topic again from 11:30-midnight. You will get a call screener that will ask you what your question is, take your name age, and city you are from and then they will put you on hold to talk to Dr. Drew, Mike, and Simone. You will probably get busy signals at first but just keep hitting redial and you'll eventually get through.

My husband was the same way when he quit drinking, it was like when he drank the sex drive was normal and then when he didn't he was like a teenager, I just went with it, and he craved chocolate all the time. I could always tell when he wasn't drinking he was insatiable, but my job was to make sure he was happy, so talk to your wife, I am sure she doesn't hate you, she just might not understand, some people drink coffee like a gallon a day, lol but everyone is different so don't beat yourself up over it, is is normal for many.

Sex drives can be erratic for both men and women. My husband goes through times when he is really in high gear all the time and then not. As a wife I want to take care of his needs, because I lover him, even if I am not in the mood at the moment.

If you think there is a physical problem, I would think you should see a urologist who can diagnose any potential problems. It may just be the result of changes in your life style.

Is this really a ' problem ' as such ? Isn't this normal for a man ? Regardless of wanting sex or sexual feelings random erections, I thought were normal.
Doesn't it show everything works, ha ha, shouldn't that be embraced ?
