Like the title says... I'm feeling nauseous after every time I masturbate, this has been going on since I started masturbating when I was 13-14 years old and I don't know why I feel nauseous...
Is it because I tense right before the climax? Someone help me. |

It's hard to say with the little information you've provided.
In what ways are you masturbating? Have you been abused? Are you using toys? Are you under stress? |

I to have a few questions. Does it typically end in orgasm or not?
Blood flow increases to your brain as well. So headaches or nausea are not unheard of after sex. Orgasm is kind of a requirement to get the headaches and nausea to go away. As blood flow gathers it takes orgasm to release that blood flow. It will release on it's own but is considerably slower w/ out orgasm, so headache and nausea will be worse w/ out orgasm. Just curious if orgasm or lack of orgasm is the issue. You didn't make mention of your age. It could be health related. High blood pressure maybe. I agree w/ skipper....toys, past abuse, does this happen w/ a partner or just alone? Hope we can help you get to the bottom of this. Good luck until then. |

Do you feel guilt after you masturbate? I can't imagine any physical cause of this.

I do not know. I very occasionally can get a headache. I would try applying the simplest remedy that helps most situations - drink a lot of tea before masturbation. Dehydration can cause all sorts of problems. If that does not help at all, maybe you should mention it to the GP.

Hmm...well, this might not be applicable at all, as I wouldn't expect much of a...er..."set up," so to speak, upon starting, but are you using any lubrication or anything else? Don't have to get into details in respect for your privacy, but I'm wondering if you're having an allergic reaction to something.
Otherwise, I don't think tensing up would cause nausea...granted, musculature knowledge isn't my forte, but that's my guess. Dr. Skipper and George brought up good points...are any of those applicable? And Hamster brings up a great point. Hydration in pretty much anything is vital. That's the best I could come up with after racking my brain. ![]() I wish you all my best, and I hope things improve. Hugs, Harley

You bring up an even better point. Artificial lube isn't something that had occurred to me but it sounds as likely as anything else speculated on.

I have never experienced it in connection with sex, but I have experienced it a lot by itself. People like me, who have naturally low blood pressure, are more prone to orthostatic hypotension. But even people whose blood pressure is not low at baseline can experience such dizzy spells. |

Are you by any chance lowering your head below the level of your heart? I do not do that, but I know that some people do that, and I can see how that could cause at least dizziness, if not nausea.
