I know I'm gay. I have come to terms with that. My friends and family all know. Its just, I don't know, I feel alone in the world. I have no friends I can talk to about gay stuff and I feel that I'll never meet someone who will be there for me in a romantic way since my ex Nate left my life.

I'm sorry that you feel alone. You can't know what the future will bring. I'm sure that you can find supportive people on this forum and others like it who will talk to you about gay stuff 24/7.

Keep your head up JMan! By virtue of you have had a previous partner proves that you can find someone to share your life with. It has nothing to do with your sexuality. Be patient, and be okay with yourself. Life will bring you what you need.

You say that you've come to terms with being gay but it does not sound like it at all. Perhaps you should re-think it.

Do you have hobbies? Have you sought out gay friends with similar interests? I used to play a lot of tennis and became very active - while I could still play - in an LGBT tennis group. It was a lot of fun while it lasted. Even though I can no longer play due to chronic injuries, I still hear from them sometimes to come back and run events and programs.
