I'm still in high school I'm 14 and I don't know if what I'm feeling is temporary or not but I don't know if I'm into girls or if im straight ( I'm a girl ) for about 3 years iv been woundering this. I look at the normal stuff people look at online at my age and iv only ever been attracted or sexually aroused by girls but iv also thought that some guys are hot or cute but iv never been turned on by them or have very rarely taken intrest in them like girls and I don't really know if that means I'm a lesbian or not?

Here's the thing...until you are ready to date you don't have to "pick a team"
The best way to know if you are gay or straight is see who you are attracted to enough to want to date. It could still change as you age though. I dated guys in college, girls in my 20's and now I consider myself Bi with leanings towards wanting to date men. Just let what happens happen. Good luck, W |

You might also be bisexual.

Noiz Ratio, I've went through a somewhat similar phase when I was your age (6 years ago). Something to consider is whether you may be feeling differently about girls than boys simply because you may feel more emotionally connected with them at this time (When I was 14 I couldn't really relate well to most if not all boys at school and I never considered any for a relationship.)
Over my later teenage years I discovered that I could see myself dating both sexes if the person was right for me (I agree with TheWell's advice). I've been in a relationship with a guy for a few years now. |

sexuality is very fluid, there is more than just "straight" and "lesbian", and you can also be romantically attracted to genders that you might not be sexually attracted to, it can be very confusing so try not to worry about it too much yet, you're 14 and you don't need a label. (unless you want one, i suppose..that wasn't meant to...agh i just hope you understand what i was trying to say..)
